About Our RM

The Rural Municipality (RM) of Brokenshell No. 68 is a proud and welcoming rural community located in southeastern Saskatchewan. Rooted in agriculture and supported by strong local partnerships, the RM is home to generations of families who value open spaces, hardworking traditions, and neighbourly connections. It surrounds the Town of Yellow Grass and includes the Organized Hamlet of Trossachs.

The RM of Brokenshell was established in 1909. Our current office is located at 1633 1st Ave NE in Weyburn.

The RM of Brokenshell is a diverse rural municipality in south east Saskatchewan. The RM has a land base of 845 square kilometers. Highways 13, 28 and 621 are the main transportation routes which run directly through the municipality.

With strong rural roots and a forward-looking mindset, the RM of Brokenshell continues to grow and adapt, ensuring our municipality remains a great place to live, work, farm, and do business. We are dedicated to serving our ratepayers with integrity, transparency, and a focus on community well-being.
