The RM of Brokenshell offers a Dust Control Program. Please note that the RM does not subsidize this program. Applicants are required to pay 100% of the cost of the dust control application.

We will be using magnesium chloride which has proven as a dust suppressant.

Cost is calculated based on the length and width of the requested site, number of litres that are applied, the water fee, plus GST.

To participate, you must complete a Dust Control Agreement (pdf) and return it to the RM Office by May 1, 2026. If we do not receive your completed form by this date, it will be assumed you do not wish to receive dust control services.

Emails will be sent to previous recipients of the program (please ensure we have the most current email address).

If you’re unable to print the agreement, give us a call, and we’ll be happy to provide a printed copy.
